-Lee Ann Alexander is Vice President, State Government Relations, with the American Property Casualty Insurance Association. Lee Ann is responsible for APCIA government relations activities in Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Texas. Prior to joining APCIA, Lee Ann served as the Vice President, Government Affairs, for the Surety & Fidelity Association of America and was responsible for nationwide state government affairs management and advocacy. Lee Ann also spent nearly two decades with Liberty Mutual Insurance as Senior State Affairs Officer and Corporate Counsel, with primary responsibility for public affairs issues in multiple states. She also practiced insurance law at the Austin, Texas, office of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, was a management consultant for McKinsey & Company in Atlanta, and practiced international trade law at Powell, Goldstein, Frazer & Murphy in Washington, D.C.
-Lee Ann received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and her undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma. She is admitted to practice in Texas and the District of Columbia and before the U.S. Court of International Trade and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
